Hermaphrodite

The subject of so-called gender fluidity doesn't interest me in particular but is part of the Laura Mundo lexicon as she delved into the story of Orthon, the George Adamski created alien persona that Laura eventually ran with herself. It was asked by Aaron Gulyas in his podcast Saucer Life what person influenced such a fixation in Laura's mind? Outside of my own potential theory that she might have been living vicariously through her dead brother or others there is this mention of an hermaphrodite in her autobiography Belmont. Her young friend Elise Addison's own brother was supposedly born hermaphrodite and had been sent away to an institution. This so-called "skeleton story" would have been imparted to her when she was around 7 or 8 years old in Belmont, Maine. It appears on page 55 of the book.
