I have no doubt that the reason Otto Marxer and his wife Laura Mundo don't appear in the Images of America book on The Dearborn Inn is due to their open UFO connections. Not only had their friend and co-worker Lawrence Cardenas supposedly seen a flying saucer in the vicinity of the New England style inn in the 1950s but years before Laura claimed that her and Otto had witnessed one, half the size of the inn, humming low over the building. It left them feeling funny. Instead, one would think that such a monumental event in their life would elicit more than a short paragraph but her rape at the hands of a high school football also only garnered a few sentences and was not brought up again, so one never knows with Laura.
