This is a story about Laura Mundo's mother Alberta's third husband William Simon Morse's first wife, whom I believe was Mable Johnson Morse. As the story goes, after a thundershower which blew off the barn door and the chimney caught on fire with the boarding around it also becoming so hot that it also became enflamed. Mrs. Morse noticed it and put it out with a few pails of water.
