The Cincinnati Enquirer, November 20, 1955 |
This article concerns a talk by Desmond Leslie at the Emery Auditorium in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1955 where he dated flying saucers back to 1700 amid apparent National Security threats by the groups appearance. Wherein it quotes Laura Mundo, who was still using her married name of Marxer, as saying, "The Air Force told me that no security risk would involved in giving information of the saucers... they gave us their blessings." She was serving as the chairman of the Desmond Leslie Committee and obviously had, according to her statement, been in talks with government officials at the time of the article. A claim which she had made in several previous publications and newsletters.
