This is a matchbook from Otto Marxer's restaurant at 21953 Michigan Avenue in West Dearborn. The term West Dearborn is one that I've never come across before in all of my research on Nankin Township and the surrounding area but the designation is not unheard of in these parts where seemingly every little town had their own sects and designations. Otto was Laura Mundo's husband from 1931 until 1950 when they apparently divorced amicably.
The motto shown on the item is Home Cooking That Will Please. It has enticed this alien to write not only a posthumous review but an neurotic and godforsaken blog as well.
