The Bangor Daily News, July 29, 1969 |
Laura Mundo's high school class of 1929 at William G. Crosby High School in Belfast, Maine held its 40th reunion and she showed up and gave a slide and commentary presentation on flying saucers. Though the article botched the named of the presenter with the location of the last person they mentioned beforehand.
As stated in the article, Laura traveled the furthest back east from her home in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. She still maintained the surname of her deceased ex-husband Otto Marxer in public mentions while using her maiden name for publications.
Since the article lists names of classmates who attended, I plan to compare them to the "Opinions" notebook which Laura used to gather memories of her friends and classmates back in 1969. It's a mostly futile research endeavor but one that I feel I must attempt.
